To tidy the database

In normal use RM Auditor creates database files that use a large amount of disk space on the server. You can reduce the size of these files by running Tidy Database.

1. In the left-hand pane, click Administration.

2. In the right-hand pane, under Database Maintenance Tasks, select Tidy Database.

3. To run the task immediately, click the Run button.

4. To create a schedule for tidying the database, click the Schedule button.

• For more information about creating a schedule for a database maintenance task, see Related Topics.

• We recommend that you run this task once per day when the network is not busy. If you backup the database frequently, you can run this task less frequently.
